RCK’s fifth graders presented their “I Survived” series to classmates and parents in April. Each group of 3-4 students provided the audience with scientific information about natural disasters with detailed visual aids. All fifth students participated in the project with the assistance of their teachers and librarian Bianca Rivera. 

“At RCK, we value the importance of these projects because the children not only learn about the science behind these naturally occurring events, but they also learn how to work as a team and are exposed to public speaking,” Principal Janet Jones said.
